1803 Cheese Knife


Our hand-forged carbon steel cheese knife has a small cleaver style blade that is set in a piece of red deer antler then finished with a small brass nail. It is good to use with your befores. Hard cheese, soft cheese, salumi, charcuteries, that sort of thing.

Every 1803 knife is unique, celebrating the character of our natural antler and the traditional forging process. We forge our blades with carbon steel as it has superior hardness and strength, to ensure a longer life and a better sharpening experience for the user.

Every 1803 knife is presented in a rustic leather wrap. The 1803 hand-forged blade collection has rare provenance that represents authentic Australian luxury.

Our 1803 Cheese Knife has a small cleaver style blade set into a solid piece of red deer antler.

Blade length: 10cm long from the neck
Blade depth: 2.5cm
Antler handle length: Handles vary as we use the tines (pointed ends) of the antler which create an impressive and organic design. Generally thee handles vary from 11cm – 16cm in length. Some handles have a square end, however we do try to keep the natural antler form where possible.
